Mr. Zhian Zhang, Chairman of Australian Hualong, has extensive experience in iron ore, tin and base metal mining, processing and smelting, mostly through his operations in Yunnan, China.
In the past 20 years, Mr. Zhang has developed and managed a number of mining-related ventures in China. He has developed extensive mining, mineral processing, smelting/refinery and project management skills.
In 1994, he established ‘Zhida Industry’ focussing on mineral exploration, open cut and underground mining and processing of tin, lead, zinc and iron ore in the Yunnan Province. As the Chairman of the company, expansion of Zhida Industry’s business into other areas has occurred, including lead and zinc smelting, refining and resource re-generation.
Since 2008, Mr. Zhang has expanded his business in Australia. With his expertise in mining and mineral processing, and through his locally registered company ‘Australian Hualong Pty Ltd’, Mr. Zhang has acquired a number of advanced mineral exploration projects in Tasmania.
Through Australian Hualong Pty Ltd, Mr. Zhang has established an experienced local management team in Australia, which consist of international and Australian expertise to ensure the company’s future growth in Australia.
