John Miedecke is a civil/environmental engineer with over 40 years experience in the resource development industries. He has a consultancy based in Hobart Tasmania, specialising in permitting and environmental management. Prior to this he worked for consulting engineers in Sydney Australia, and Amax, a major United States mining company before commencing his consulting practice in Tasmania. He has worked in all states of Australia and overseas, including various projects for the UNDP in India and Jamaica. His clients have included many of the major mining companies in Australia and overseas, plus Local, State and Commonwealth Governments.
